Delightfull Crumbs
by Ahmad Khairul Anwar
Project Overview
Delightfull Crumbs is an application that provides various types of cookies to order.
My Contribution
As UI/UX Designer of Delightfull Crumbs application, Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, taking accessibility into account, and iterating on designs.
User Research Summary
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I was designing for and their needs. The primary user group identified through the research was anyone who had actively ordered cookies in the last 3 months. Participants had to include a fairly even distribution of genders across the spectrum and people with different abilities. The research revealed that the sorting feature that was supposed to be a featured feature was giving some users difficulties, so I fixed this sorting feature and hopefully it will help users choose products that fit their needs.
User research: pain points
Alan Sudirman's Persona
Problem statement: Alan Sudirman is a worker who loves cookies but doesn't have much time to choose. He needs an efficient way to choose cookies.
User journey map Mapping
user journey Alan Sudirman shows that using the sorting feature can save time in selecting cookies.
Paper wireframes
Image of Delightfull Crumbs main page application, as the priority the main pain point is when the user presses the fill form button, it will go to the filter feature page.
Competitive Audit
Competitor audits are conducted to understand the strengths and weaknesses of similar apps, identify differentiation opportunities, ensure the app offers better features than its competitors and help create a more competitive and relevant product for users.

Baking Timer's Ideation focuses on precise baking time setting, ease of use, and baking result recording.
Low-fidelity Prototype
To prepare for usability testing, I worked on a prototype with a simple flow from the homepage to the timer, then supporting pages such as history and notification.

I conducted a usability study to test whether the sorting feature in the low-fidelity design was in accordance with what users expected.
High-fidelity prototype
High-fidelity prototype provides better user-flow from cookies selection to checkout.

Takeaways
Impact
The Delightfull Crumbs app makes users feel that ordering cookies is incredibly easy and fast. One piece of feedback from a colleague said, “This app makes ordering cookies extremely easy and quick.”
What I learned
While designing the Delightfull Crumbs app, I realized that the initial idea for the app was only the first step in the development process. Usability studies and feedback from colleagues influenced every design iteration, ensuring that the app increasingly meets user needs and preferences.
